Our first fundraising event, on April 2, 2022, was a great success. We tried our best to create a fun and exciting environment for our little guests. We can say that our pop-up playground was a huge hit—both kids and families seemed to love it! We raised over 600 thousand krónur that day and got to know plenty of amazing people and families. We received some great feedback and encouragement from you and are extremely grateful for this. Here are some beautiful photos that Sorina Ratkiene Photography took for us during the event.

Our second fundraising event, on April 13, 2022, was about the newly-built indoor treehouse, the first of its kind in all of Iceland. It was made of 100% recycled materials and has an ECO certificate. We can say that it was a huge hit as hundreds of people attended and we raised nearly 500 thousand krónur that day. Fjölskylduland is the first holistic Indoor Playground and Family Center in Iceland. It offers a safe, enriching, and developmentally stimulating environment for children up to six years old as well as a supportive environment for parents, with a whole array of workshops, classes, and events. A one-stop family land that Iceland desperately needs.
